InternetRetailing Expo to focus on omnichannel retail

InternetRetailing Expo (IRX) and EDX 2018 will focus on omnichannel retail, mobile, marketing, payments, delivery and much more when they take place at NEC Birmingham in Birmingham, UK on 21-23 March 2018.

Spread across eight tracks, the conferences sessions will offer deep dives into the key topics and trends that are currently shaping e-commerce and delivery. This year, the main focus will be on how retailers can provide a seamless omnichannel experience. Speakers from some of the major technology giants, payment services providers like Barclaycard and large retailers will share their thoughts and insights on best practices for moving to omnichannel.

Charlotte Briscall, head of Digital Experience at Sainsbury’s, will deliver the keynote address on driving customer engagement through omnichannel retail. Meanwhile, Tom Rooney, senior product manager for Mobile Apps and In-Store Digital at John Lewis, will share his insights into transforming the in-store experience through mobile. Deliveroo’s operations director Caroline Hazelhurst will explore the changing relationship between on-demand apps and traditional sectors.

In total, more than 100 executives and experts from the retail and digital world will deliver presentations, demonstrations and workshops. They will include Daryl Hughes, head of e-commerce at Facebook and Instagram; Nigel Blunt, head of Operations Development at Sainsbury’s Argos; Dave Crellin, head of Online Operations at Sainsbury’s.
