As part of Microsoft’s participation at this year’s virtual Sibos, CEO Satya Nadella will discuss the role of technology in financial services and how it can help to drive transformation.
On 6 October, BNY Mellon CEO Todd Gibbons will join Nadella and they will share their thoughts on how technology is poised to reshape the financial services industry in the coming years, and look at how to approach transformation to achieve sustainable results.
Microsoft will also be involved in other sessions at the event, covering topics including how to: modernise payments and core banking to increase agility to roll out new products and services; manage risk by deepening risk insights and complying with regulations; combat financial crime while lowering compliance costs; empower employees by improving productivity; and create environmental, social and corporate governance solutions and deliver on organisational sustainability priorities.
On 5 October, the opening day of Sibos 2020, Microsoft will hold a session titled ‘Payment Platform Modernisation to Achieve Sustainable Advantage’, where attendees can hear from Microsoft’s vice president of financial services Ed Fandrey and director of business development Peter Hazou, with Somya Patnaik, a digital payments expert at ACI Worldwide.
