Ansys will showcase its virtual homologation toolchain – a simulation solution designed to help automotive manufacturers meet global regulatory compliance and safety standards – at CES 2025.

Launched in December 2024, the solution is the result of collaboration with Microsoft, TÜV SÜD and Kontrol, which provided advanced compliance management solutions. It has been designed for software-defined vehicles, advanced driver assistance systems, electromobility, full vehicle and component development.

The solution, which uses Microsoft Azure cloud platform infrastructure and AI-powered analytics, has delivered time and cost reductions associated with physical prototyping. This has accelerated decision-making by automating workflows, shortening design cycles and reducing development costs for cars from race teams including Ferrari, Oracle Red Bull Racing and Porsche.

“This collaboration brings together a diverse set of technology and regulatory expertise to drive innovation in the automotive industry,” said Shane Emswiler, senior vice president of products at Ansys. “The inclusion of high-fidelity simulation ensures that manufacturers can rely on virtual testing as a secure and predictively accurate alternative to physical trials, paving the way for faster, safer innovation.”

Ansys will demonstrate the solution at booth #6400 in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, at CES 2025, which runs from 7-11 January 2025.
