Microsoft has collaborated with Oracle to enhance the Oracle Database@Azure solution.
Oracle Database@Azure was released last year as part of a multi-year partnership to allow joint customers to build and run new cloud applications that combine Oracle Database services with native Microsoft Azure services.
New enhancements include integration with Microsoft Fabric with the aim of fuelling artificial intelligence innovation and Microsoft Sentinel to enhance security and compliance, as well as plans to expand the offering to a total of 21 primary regions.
“Customer choice is at the heart of the Microsoft and Oracle partnership,” said Brett Tanzer, vice president of product management for the Azure solutions and ecosystem team at Microsoft in a blog post. “Performance, scalability, security and reliability are top of mind for our customers as they migrate and modernize mission-critical workloads in the cloud.”
