Litmus has entered a strategic partnership with Microsoft to help deliver seamless edge-to-cloud industrial AI solutions.

Litmus Edge, the firm’s industrial data operations platform, will be integrated with Microsoft Azure IoT Operations to help streamline the orchestration of industrial devices, data and AI at the edge.

“Azure’s adaptive cloud approach empowers customers to unify their information modelling layers by easily integrating edge, on-premises, and cloud environments with a consistent, scalable platform," said Dayan Rodriguez, corporate vice president of manufacturing and mobility at Microsoft. “The integration of Litmus technology further strengthens our Azure IoT Operations solution, creating a unified data plane enabling customers to streamline OT data ops at scale, while simplifying the overall management and orchestration of edge deployments from the cloud."

The integration will help manufacturers to achieve faster AI deployment for predictive maintenance and quality control; enhance data connectivity with a wide range of industrial protocols and devices; improve operational efficiency with real-time insights; and lower the total cost of ownership with simplified deployment and management.

Litmus and Microsoft are showcasing the integration live at Hannover Messe 2025, which is taking place from 31 March-4 April in Germany. Discover more news from the event on our dedicated landing page
