Three more solutions from software-as-a-service technology provider AvePoint have achieved Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) authorisation, which means they have been evaluated and verified for use in US federal agencies.
There are now 19 AvePoint cloud solutions that are FedRAMP authorised and part of the AvePoint Confidence Platform. The three new additions are Cloud Backup for Azure, which provides granular recovery and restores of Azure Active Directory, virtual machines and blobs/file storage; ReCenter, which helps customers find and restore lost data in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace; and Confide, a secure virtual data room hosted within Microsoft 365.
The FedRAMP certification provides a standardised approach to security assessment and continuous monitoring of cloud products and services. Adding three new products to this authorisation demonstrates the firm’s commitment to “assess its solutions against high security standards” and deliver “security for public sector customers”, according to AvePoint.
“AvePoint understands why public sector organisations, who manage highly sensitive data every day, need partners that value security as much as they do,” said John Peluso, chief product officer at AvePoint. “We do not take our role of securing data lightly and believe that investing in the credentials to back up our commitment is a key differentiator for our customers in regulated industries.”
