Bank BTPN, an Indonesian foreign exchange bank, has expanded its collaboration with Microsoft to accelerate its digital transformation and improve hybrid working for its employees across the country.
The bank is adopting the Microsoft 365 ecosystem to support the implementation of an inclusive hybrid working model for more than 9,600 employees.
Microsoft 365 will provide Bank BTPN with capabilities for monitoring tasks and productivity, multifactor authentication and secure file sharing. Hybrid working will also allow the bank to digitise various processes such as completing attendance lists, signatures, workplace reservations and vendor management, which will help reduce paper usage.
“At the beginning of the pandemic, we enacted a work from home policy, and so we were challenged with moving our operations to the digital world while maintaining compliance with regulations that apply to this industry,” said Jeny Mustopha, chief of information technology at Bank BTPM. “We are grateful that the Microsoft technology ecosystem has become one of our main platforms that ensures our operational activities can run safely and without obstacles."
Bank BTPN will also improve security throughout the business with the help of multifactor authentication and Microsoft Defender.
“We believe technology, productivity, and trust must always go hand in hand,” said Wahjudi Purnama, modern work lead at Microsoft Indonesia. “That’s why Microsoft is developing a variety of solutions, including Microsoft 365, that have international security and compliance certifications as part of our commitment to continue empowering individuals and organisations in Indonesia.”
