BindTuning launches outbreak preparedness kit for Microsoft Teams
Users can easily share company-specific guidelines and information

Digital workplace solution provider BindTuning has launched an outbreak preparedness starter kit for Microsoft Teams to help enterprises share company-specific guidelines and information to address outbreaks such as that of Covid-19.

By using the BindTuning App, firms can automatically create a new team on Microsoft Teams with relevant channels, tabs and pre-populated content. Users can adjust this to their specific preparedness plans by adding content, documentation and videos.

The template features several channels, including a ‘keep up to date’ channel which is intended for sharing up-to-date information and news. It includes a news tab which consolidates information from multiple sources and a Twitter feed focused on the disease.

The ‘preparedness plan’ channel includes a policies area for staff to check their employer’s advice, and a control meetings calendar and training calendar. The starter kit also features a ‘prevention and protection’ channel, which enables users to share informative videos such as how to correctly wash hands, and when and how to use a mask, and a ‘travel advice’ channel, which showcases travel alerts, risk levels by country and who to contact while abroad.

Organisations that do not currently have a BindTuning license can access a free three-month offer for the starter kit.
