Analyser and Investigator solutions help police piece together crucial case information

Analytics tools from data analytics firm Chorus Intelligence are now available on Microsoft Azure. The company’s Analyser and Investigator solutions help police forces piece together crucial case information.
Chorus Intelligence’s Analyser lets intelligence analysts manage vast quantities of data, such as call records and device downloads, and help them spot patterns and sequences. The Investigator tool helps officers develop lines of enquiry by showing them the most important elements of the case such as what happened, when and where.
“We are pleased to offer Chorus in the cloud with Microsoft Azure, allowing law enforcement to embrace ‘cloud-first’ principles so they can cut costs and help investigators to work more securely, efficiently and collaboratively,” said Boyd Mulvey, chief executive of Chorus.

From county lines crime to missing persons, crime does not stay within force boundaries. Police can securely store and access their data in the cloud since the UK’s National Police Information Risk Management Team reviewed its data centres in September 2017.
