Comline Auto Parts has enlisted the help of software company Formpipe to help boost its brand identity by streamlining document creation for customer-facing content, such as invoices.
Comline’s previous systems made it difficult to customise documents which was time-consuming and costly as it often required a third party. The company also needed to issue invoices in an extensible markup language format for specific external stakeholders, which its systems were unable to do. As a result, Comline was at risk of weakening its professionalism and brand perception.
Following the rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 by DXC Technology, Comline sought help from Formpipe to create a solution that provided greater flexibility to produce more creative designs and empower staff to modify existing business documents to ensure they were all consistent, and correctly aligned and formatted.
Formpipe’s input and output management solution Lasernet is tailored to fit the customer’s needs. Using it, Comline has been able to create a bespoke solution that represents its corporate identity in documents. It has also been able to simplify document creation by setting up specific formats for invoices.
“I can’t recommend Lasernet enough,” said Shalin Kamdar, director of Comline. “After a bit of training, it’s highly intuitive to use, easy to implement and has had huge results for our business. Lasernet is a very adaptable product with great support from the team at Formpipe. We can now design and implement changes to our business document formats quicker than we have done previously.”
