Transportation systems and services provider Cubic Corporation has acquired Advanced Traffic Solutions (otherwise known as Trafficware). The move will see the firm expand on its efforts to reduce urban congestion by focusing on technological innovation and the building of smart cities.
Trafficware technology will be integrated into the Cubic Transportation Systems (CTS) business unit, building on the transport management platform which is hosted on the Microsoft Azure cloud.
