Broadcaster aims to enhance league brands by giving fans more immersive experiences

London-based broadcaster Deltatre has extended its partnership with Forbidden Technologies’ Blackbird for another 12 months. Deltatre uses Blackbird to produce sports clips and highlights in a bid to enhance the brands of sports leagues, franchises and TV networks by giving fans more immersive experiences.
Blackbird is able to create long and short game clips for sports such as rugby, cycling and athletics. These highlights are then distributed to social, mobile, web, over-the-top and on-demand platforms.

Deltatre runs Blackbird on Microsoft Azure, enabling users to edit, manage and distribute content collaboratively from North America and Europe.
