The Directions ASIA 2019 conference, which will open its doors on 1 April, will premiere the April release of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, an all-in-one business solution available in on-premises, in-cloud and in a hybrid model. The new product roadmap will be showcased at the event, including functional enhancements and tools.
The event is focused on supporting the Dynamics 365 partner community with the changes in product technology and business strategies resulting from digital transformation.
The main concept of the conference is to equip Dynamics 365 partners with the knowledge and tools that will enable them to offer innovative apps and services to the SMB market, using the growth opportunities behind Dynamics 365 Business Central, the cloud and the Microsoft ecosystem of integrated business apps. Bringing together APAC and global partners offering apps for Dynamics 365 Business Central, the event serves also as a platform to build professional network and enhance collaboration on building competitive product portfolios.
In addition to being a partner meeting forum, the event is an opportunity to meet Microsoft executives including keynote speakers Toby Bowers, senior director of Worldwide Business Applications and Industry; Dave Miller, vice president of Microsoft Dynamics ASIA; and Mike Ehrenberg, technical fellow at Microsoft.
The Microsoft team and most valuable partners will also deliver hands-on workshops focusing on the hottest topics and practical aspects for the Dynamics 365 developers and implementers, including Visual Studio Code and AL, Docker, artificial intelligence and machine learning implementation, Azure services, tips and tricks for Business Central development.
The new technology and the move to cloud, requires partners to reinvent not only product development but their entire business and marketing concepts. Therefore, during the conference, Microsoft will update business owners and marketers on partner readiness programs, marketing and technical validation of apps and new role of ISV solutions in the ecosystem.
