ESPC21 Online to provide pre-event tutorials for digital transformation

Ahead of its event on 1-2 June, the European SharePoint, Office 365 and Azure Conference (ESPC) 2021 Online is providing pre-event tutorials to drive professional development and digital transformation understanding among participants. 

Taking place on 28 May, the sessions will be led by industry experts and cover a range of topics, including Power BI, Azure, Microsoft Teams, Microservices with DAPR and .NET, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Intranet, Digital Workplace, Microsoft Lists and Power Apps & Power Automate.

A Grand Tour of Power BI with John White, Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP)
This tutorial will explore how Power BI works and what it can do. It will walk through its architecture, the Power BI web service, Power BI Desktop and how it works with Microsoft Excel and SharePoint. 

Automating Azure: From Command Line to DevOps for IT Pros with Aleksandar Nikolic, MVP
Learn how to move from imperative scripting at the command line with Azure PowerShell and Azure CLI to the deployments using declarative Azure ARM Templates and Terraform to fully automated deployments with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions. The tutorial includes a variety of practical exercises. 

Building Microsoft Teams Custom Solutions with Paolo Pialorsi, MVP
Learn what extensibility models are and how to build custom solutions on top of Microsoft Teams. By the end, participants will be able to build business-level solutions to extend the collaboration experience in Teams. 

Designing Microservices with DAPR and .NET with Alex Mang, MVP
This session will be a code-heavy, development guide to building cloud-native applications using the DAPR event-driven runtime. In it, ESPC aims to simplify the world of microservices by using comprehensive examples for the .NET developer. 

Microsoft 365 Adoption Masterclass Workshop with Tracy Van der Schyff, MVP
Through effective communication and training, true Microsoft 365 adoption can be achieved. Participants can discover the critical components to help drive adoption of the Microsoft Apps & Services in their organisations. 

Information Architecture for SharePoint Intranets with Susan Hanley, MVP
Discover tips to improve findability and information organisation, and the basic concepts of information architecture. Learn approaches for planning navigation across the entire intranet and on individual sites, along with best practices for page layouts that support user experiences. This tutorial will also cover Viva Connections. 

Enrich your Digital Workplace: Blend AI and M365 with MVPs Albert-Jan Schot, Rick van Rousselt, Thomas Gölles and Stephan Bisser 
Learn how to apply artificial intelligence (AI) in the daily work routine, using tools such as Project Cortex, advanced bot scenarios and Azure Cognitive services. Attendees will leave being able to blend different AI services into the Digital Workplace.

Building Solutions with Power Apps & Power Automate with MVPs Ahmad Najjar and Serge Luca
