EuroCIS invites ‘forward thinkers and forerunners, developers and users, visionaries and pioneers’ to explore the digital future of retail at Messe Düsseldorf, in Düsseldorf, Germany between 31 May and 2 June 2022.

The programme is focused on customer centricity, analytics, payment, connected retail and seamless stores. Other topics will include what innovations profitably expand horizons, whether shopping will become an interactive high-tech experience, what technologies are needed to connect retail, the best way to use big data and what is new in merchandise security.

Ideas for the future of the retail industry, innovations, products and solutions will be found at the Retail Technology Stage and Connected Retail Stage, both of which will be live streamed for those who cannot attend in person.

Specific topics covered on the Retail Technology Stage include mobile solutions, developments in self-checkout and self-scanning, trends in big data and analytics, radio-frequency identification, payment and the latest security technology.

The Connected Retail Stage will explore mobile commerce, contextual commerce, customer access and omnichannel services.

The lecture programme will cover a variety of retail technology subjects, with talks on the digital transformation of computer vision-powered smart cars, bridging the affordability gap via a reimagined self-checkout experience, and using repair and maintenance data for facility management.

Exhibitors such as Espon, Glory, Microsoft, VR Payment, Zebra and Zucchetti will showcase products at the event,  including omnichannel solutions, payment systems, robotics, point-of-sale software, communication technologies and security services. There will also be opportunities for delegates to network with exhibitors.

Some of EuroCIS will be accessible virtually through live streams of the stages, product videos, web sessions and online networking.
