Electronic entertainment and IT equipment manufacturer Trekstor has developed a Windows 10 IoT Core based commercial-grade wearable device, designed to replace larger handheld devices used in such areas as inventory management in retail and various manufacturing scenarios.

The TrekStor IoT device is 1.54 inches and can be worn as a watch. It takes advantage of Microsoft Azure Cloud services like Microsoft Cognitive Services, and can be used to report various functions and send messages in real time. The device is cloud connected and can run Universal Windows Applications.

More information on this product will be available in the coming months.

This is just one of the examples on display at the global industrial fair Hannover Messe of how Microsoft is partnering with manufacturers to find innovative solutions for humans and machines to work together.
