Enterprise operating system (OS) provider IGER is strengthening its collaboration with Microsoft with a series of new integrations and features for Microsoft solutions.

The firm will release IGEL OS support for Windows 365 Frontline edition, which will allow task workers such as frontline and healthcare workers to connect their cloud PC’s directly from IGEL OS to Windows 365 Frontline. As a result, shift and part-time workers will be able to work from anywhere without the constraint of shared physical devices.

Furthermore, IGEL is also improving support for Azure Stack HCI and releasing a new Intune application for IGEL OS. The application will allow IT administrators to see and manage IGEL-powered devices within Intune. This, combined with the support for Microsoft Entra ID Conditional Access will provide a greater level of security and policy control.

“IGEL and Microsoft are mutually committed to delivering a seamless and secure user experience for today’s hybrid digital workforce,” said Scott Manchester, vice president of product, Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 at Microsoft. “IGEL’s support for Windows 365 Frontline, Azure Virtual Desktop for Azure Stack HCI and Microsoft Intune will help us deliver additional value to a broad range of customers in a wide variety of industries.”
