French fashion label Isabel Marant is using Microsoft partner Cegid Retail’s cloud-based commerce platform to deploy omnichannel services and expand its international retail and e-commerce operations.
The platform has enabled Isabel Marant to set up new services to address growing online demands, such as introducing ‘click-and-collect’ and ‘ship-from-store’ services for faster deliveries. The retailer is also adding other Cegid solutions to extend offerings beyond the store, including a ‘try-and-buy’ scheme where customers can order a selection of clothes to try on and only pay for those that they decide to keep.
“During the coronavirus crisis, new omnichannel services have proven decisive as consumers expect multiple shopping options, including being able to buy online and picking up orders in stores or being delivered,” said Nathalie Echinard, director of retail business at Cegid.
