Microsoft partners Konica Minolta and Preservica are collaborating to strengthen the adoption of digital preservation best practices in heavily regulated industries and government agencies across North America.
Through the partnership, Konica Minolta has become an authorised reseller of Preservica’s Enterprise and Preserve365 solutions, meaning any customers looking to move to the Microsoft 365 platform or to simplify their Microsoft 365 sprawl will have access to a more streamlined archive compliance process.
“With an increasing number of organisations adopting Microsoft 365, this partnership presents a transformative opportunity to deliver integrated, long-term digital preservation solutions that meet the evolving technology needs of our customers,” said Ron Thompson, vice president and general manager of intelligent information management and video solution services at Konica Minolta. “This collaboration is poised to revolutionise how our customers manage, preserve and access their critical digital content.”
Konica Minolta customers will also have access to automated and secure records management processes to give information governance teams more time to focus on other tasks, more efficient search and discovery capabilities, and the ability to optimise and declutter SharePoint environments by easily moving inactive or legacy files and folders to the preservation archive.
“By addressing critical customer document retention needs and leveraging Preservica’s expertise, we deliver unparalleled value and position ourselves as an industry leader,” said Thompson. “This collaboration promises transformative growth for our business and substantial benefits for our customers, solidifying Konica Minolta’s role as an innovator in intelligent information management.”
