From this week, LinkedIn users can get their hands on a Windows 10 app for the popular business networking tool.
Available to download from the Windows Store in some regions since Monday, the LinkedIn app for Windows 10 has been developed specifically for the Microsoft operating system and aims to provide a “more engaging and fully integrated LinkedIn experience,” explained Hermes Alvarez, product manager at LinkedIn.
“The LinkedIn app for Windows 10 makes it easier than ever to connect to opportunity, work smarter, and tap into your professional potential,” he added. “It is easily accessible from your Start menu and taskbar, and you can also pin a Live Tile so that when you click on Start, you never miss important highlights from your connections.”
Through Windows 10 Action Center, users can access real-time professional updates, including new messages, insights on who’s viewed their profile and trending news in their industry.
Microsoft intends to make the LinkedIn app available to all Windows 10 users worldwide by the end of July.
