Executives from retail brands such as Sainsbury’s, LEGO, Harrods, John Lewis, M&S, Alibaba Group and Vodafone will be hosting sessions at InternetRetailing Expo (IRX), the UK’s biggest multichannel event.
Co-located with eDelivery Expo (EDX), IRX will be held from 5-6 April at the NEC in Birmingham, UK. Europe’s only dedicated multichannel retail and delivery events will cover topics such as digital payments, customer experience, mobile growth and cross-border expansion.
IRX will feature sessions and discussions led by more than 90 key from the 500 most significant retailers in the UK and Europe. As part of this, executives from big brands will host eight free-to-attend conference tracks where they analyse what 2017 will bring for e-commerce and multichannel. They will also focus on the impact of Brexit and the resulting shift in the commercial and political landscape.
Attendees will be able to participate in 20 workshops for hands-on training, or arrange exclusive one-on-one 30-minute clinics with leading companies and retailers. Workshops will cover topics such as building best-in-class supply chains, attracting new business and securing repeat customers, predictive marketing, and personalising digital experiences.
Industry experts and analysts will also share their exclusive reports on creating conversational customer journeys, personalisation of web experiences and best practice for e-commerce managers.
In addition, more than 300 solution providers will demonstrate their products on the exhibition floor, allowing delegates to explore the benefits of technologies such as virtual reality, robots, mobile POS and internet of things-based payments tools. Meanwhile, exhibitors at EDX will focus on the latest technology in packaging, parcels, stock management, warehousing, logistics and more.
Another highlight of this year’s event will be at the Innovation Hub, where TrueStart, Europe’s only independent retail and consumer accelerator and investment fund, and nine start-ups will showcase disruptive retail technologies. These will include solutions for improving check-out conversion rates, home-delivery services, data analytics, customer recommendations, search optimisation, bottom-line improvement, supply chain management and anti-counterfeit measures.
New to this year’s show, IRX and EDX will also host an official party on 5 April to bring together the who’s who of multichannel retail. Other networking opportunities will take place over the two days.
