The BOOST20 conference provides energy and utility companies with the chance to learn more about the possibilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform, and how MECOMS has adapted this platform specifically for use by the energy and utilities sector.
Throughout the two days of the event, visitors will be able to network with new and existing partners, strengthening relationships and sharing best practices. Industry experts will be available to meet at the conference, enabling companies to get involved with innovation in areas such as blockchain, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) focused on energy and utilities.
Attendees can listen to a wide range of keynote sessions on the energy and utilities market, technology and innovation. Thought leader Steven Van Belleghem will share his expertise on the development of modern customer relationships, while Jean-François Segalotto of IDC Energy Insights will lead a discussion of trends in the industry. Also speaking at the conference will be Cindy Bransenning, solutions architect at MECOMS, who will discuss the use of omnichannel communication and driving new customer experiences. Solgari’s head of sales and strategic alliances EMEA Tamara Phelan will further examine omnichannel communication as she discusses its use from within a customer relationship management environment.
Representatives from Microsoft will also present several sessions at BOOST20. Luis Morencos, industry business development director for energy and utilities at Microsoft, will discuss the company’s wider strategy for the industry. He will be followed by Timo Verbugge, a technology advisor for Dynamics 365, who will give a talk on robotic process automation and virtual agents on the Microsoft Power Platform.
Outside of the keynote sessions, visitors will be able to discover innovations on the Microsoft platform in the areas of data, AI and robotic process automation with hands-on demonstration scenarios and use cases. Learning workshops in a lab setting will provide the chance to learn more about Microsoft’s Power Platform by creating a dashboard in Power Apps or Power BI and discovering the capabilities of Power Automate and Power Virtual Agents.
Innovative technology and business practices will be on show in the customer experience centre, with Microsoft, Gorilla, HSO Innovation and many other companies taking part. There will also be opportunities to attend trainings, workshops and labs to develop knowledge of the MECOMS 365 platform and Dynamics 365, as well as offering the chance to connect with MECOMS 365 staff.
Due to the disruption caused by the Covid-19 outbreak, MECOMS is currently working to confirm a new date for BOOST20. Please visit its website for further updates.
