Microsoft has partnered with UK-based pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca to drive transformation in healthcare. A three-month programme for start-ups called ‘the AI Factory for health’ aims to accelerate innovation in solutions for patients and medical professionals.
Created in partnership with French national research institute for digital sciences Inria, the AI Factory invites start-ups to develop healthcare tools based on artificial intelligence that can improve the patient outcome.
Organisations joining the programme will have access to AstraZeneca’s clinical expertise and its links to healthcare establishments and data, as well as the technological skills and services of Microsoft Azure.
