Microsoft hosted several sessions on accelerating the transition to cleaner energy with artificial intelligence at CERAWeek 2024, which took place from 18-22 March 2024 in Houston, Texas.
The themes for the week included energy markets, climate and sustainability, new supply chains for net-zero, innovation and power markets in transition.
Several Microsoft executives spoke at the event including Scott Guthrie, executive vice president of cloud and AI; Matt Kerner, corporate vice president of Microsoft Cloud for Industry; Kelly Bissell, corporate vice president of Microsoft Security; Bobby Hollis, vice president of energy; and Hanna Grene, global leader of go-to-market and operations for the energy and resources industry.
Microsoft partners such as Accenture, Cognite, Schneider Electric and SLB were also at the event and showcased how they are working with Microsoft to drive innovation in the energy industry.
