MWC Barcelona is set to bring together tens of thousands of senior leaders from global companies, international governments and technology firms at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona, Spain, on 3-6 March 2025.
The event will showcase the latest advancements in connectivity with keynotes, breakout sessions and networking opportunities.
Key topics will include the return on investment from 5G networks; connecting internet of things devices with network solutions that are open, seamless and secure; the practical deployment and impact of AI; and the convergence of critical technologies such as AI, 5G, edge computing, cloud, quantum computing and blockchain.
Microsoft will be one over 2,000 exhibitors at the event, alongside partners like Accenture, Dell, EY, Kyndryl, Lenovo and PWC. Silvia Candiani, vice president of telecommunications, media and gaming at Microsoft, will join spokespeople from Telefonica, ETS and more for a session on monetising 5G networks and 5G-advanced technologies. Plus, Derrick Buckley, regional business lead for media and communications at Microsoft Asia, will join experts from Nokia, Red Hat, Accenture and Ericsson, to explore sustainable development goals with IOWN technology.
