NAB Show 2023 will feature a new conference – Programming Everywhere: The Content Event for Linear, Streaming and Syndication – presented by broadcast industry news organisation TVNewsCheck on 15 April.
The day-long event will include panel discussions, programming showcases and networking opportunities. It will gather industry experts to discuss the evolving business of content creation and distribution, focusing on modernising local and national news and extending the reach of media brands via streaming.
“The abundance of content in media and entertainment has never been greater, nor has the demand for high-quality assets that serve today’s multiplatform needs,” said Curtis LeGeyt, president and CEO of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB). “We are thrilled to partner with TVNewsCheck to delve more deeply into the programming side of the business at NAB Show, where creative content and advanced technology take centre stage.”
Industry executives will consider several challenges and the opportunities presented, including how to create more content for a multimedia audience and how technologies like artificial intelligence and the cloud can reduce costs.
