Press Ganey, a US-based healthcare company known for developing and distributing patient satisfaction surveys, will combine its data from over 41,000 healthcare facilities with Microsoft’s AI and cloud computing technologies to help healthcare organisations anticipate patient needs and support clinicians.

DAX Copilot, Microsoft’s ambient solution, will provide AI-powered insights to providers. It will do this by analysing content and tone from patient experience survey data so that organisations can proactively address patient concerns and support clinicians. This information, in turn, will power tailored communications and instructions for patients.

Healthcare organisations can also access real-time data in their facilities to monitor patient care. For example, predictive insights could help reduce preventable safety events by flagging emerging trends and high-risk periods.

“Press Ganey is a recognised leader in healthcare experience management, and we are proud to collaborate with them to bring innovative, human-centred solutions to the industry,” said Peter Durlach, corporate vice president and chief strategy officer of health and life sciences at Microsoft. “Together, we are leveraging the power of Microsoft Cloud and AI to help transform care quality, support clinicians in reducing administrative workload, and improve patient outcomes at scale.”
