Tiger Technology is working towards developing the next generation of data management solutions.

Iravan Hira, appointed as CEO of Tiger Technology in April 2024, is dedicated to spearheading innovation in hybrid storage solutions, broadening the company’s global presence and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement. His aim is for Tiger Technology and its customers to drive progress and excellence in the ever-evolving technology landscape.

What are the current challenges in the cloud infrastructure industry and how is Tiger Technology adapting its solutions to help customers overcome these obstacles?

One of the challenges is that businesses are cautious to adopt the cloud, particularly for mission-critical on-premises workflows. Concerns about disruption, control and compliance are key barriers. Tiger Technology addresses these issues with hybrid storage solutions that merge the strength of on-premises storage solutions with the flexibility benefits of the cloud. Our flagship product, Tiger Bridge, enables seamless integration between on-premises and cloud storage, combining speed, security and control with hybrid cloud scalability, resilience and cost-effectiveness.

How will Tiger Technology continue to drive technological innovation and expand its business?

We focus on strategic business growth and technological innovation. We expand globally, targeting emerging markets while strengthening established regions and we offer flexible pricing models, accommodating capital expenditures and software-as-a-service preferences. Our investment in research and development ensures our products remain at the forefront of innovation. Tiger Bridge exemplifies our approach by integrating on-premises storage with cloud capabilities for powerful, easy-to-deploy hybrid solutions. We prioritise simplicity, scalability and security, allowing us to serve businesses of all sizes.

How do you envision Tiger Technology’s position in the global market changing over the next five years?

We are actively expanding our market reach. We envision Tiger Technology as a leading global provider of hybrid solutions in enterprise IT, surveillance, digital pathology, and media and entertainment. Our strategy involves deepening our presence in the USA, Europe and the Middle East, Turkey and Africa markets while expanding into Asia and the Pacific by opening new regional offices, such as one in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We will also strengthen our partnerships with local system integrators and resellers.

What role will strategic partnerships, such as the one you have with Microsoft, play in achieving these objectives?

Strategic partnerships are crucial to our growth, enabling us to leverage industry leaders’ strengths, extend market reach and enhance customer value. Our collaboration with Microsoft exemplifies this, particularly through our integration with Microsoft Azure. This allows us to offer a robust hybrid cloud environment, combining on-premises storage with the scalability and flexibility of the cloud. It has been especially beneficial for customers in the surveillance sector who require secure, scalable solutions for managing large volumes of video data.

We have established partnerships with industry leaders like Dell Technologies, Milestone Systems and Philips. These collaborations allow us to deliver integrated solutions tailored to the unique challenges of different industries. For instance, our partnership with Dell provides optimised hybrid cloud storage solutions, while our collaboration with Milestone Systems enhances our video management offerings.

How do you plan to measure the success of your strategic initiatives while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement?

We use key performance indicators such as revenue growth, market share expansion and customer satisfaction to track our progress. Success will also be measured by solution adoption in new markets and the completion of strategic partnerships. To ensure these initiatives thrive, we prioritise close communication with customers and partners, gathering feedback to refine our strategies. We foster a culture of innovation by encouraging curiosity, experimentation and collaboration across teams, ensuring that our innovations address real-world needs and drive continuous improvement throughout the company. As CEO, I lead by example, promoting transparency, collaboration and continuous learning to inspire company-wide excellence.

What excites you the most about Tiger Technology’s future role in shaping the next generation of data management and hybrid storage solutions?

I’m incredibly optimistic about Tiger Technology’s potential to shape the next generation of data management and hybrid storage solutions. Our focus on hybrid storage solutions, non-disruptive cloud adoption and data sovereignty positions us uniquely in the market, and we are well-equipped to lead the next wave of innovation in the data management space. One of the key aspects of our future vision is our commitment to helping businesses navigate the complexities of digital transformation. We understand that for many organisations, the journey to the cloud is fraught with challenges, due to concerns about data security, compliance and the need to maintain control over mission-critical workflows. At Tiger Technology, we are committed to providing solutions that help businesses overcome cloud and security challenges and confidently achieve their digital transformation goals.
