Samsung Electronics has collaborated with Microsoft to develop an on-device attestation solution to enable employees to securely use personal devices for work tasks.
The solution provides an extra layer of security by maintaining a zero-trust approach and verifying if the device is compromised or not.
The on-device attestation is available on Samsung Galaxy devices and combined with protection from Microsoft Intune. It is also available on both managed and unmanaged devices, meaning that employees can bring their own Samsung devices to work as, unlike traditional device attestation, the on-device solution doesn’t require the device to be part of dedicated server or network.
“Samsung is committed to meaningful innovations that are as secure as they are versatile and optimised,” said KC Choi, executive vice president and head of global mobile business-to-business team at Samsung Electronics. “As work habits evolve and people are working from virtually anywhere on any device, we are paving the way for the future of enterprise device security and democratising the means for businesses to better protect their information.”
