Beijing-hosted event on 21-24 October will feature more than 300 sessions on topics covering digital payments, tokenisation, financial inclusion and more

Swift will host hundreds of expert speakers and more than 130 exhibitors at its 2024 edition of Sibos in Beijing, China, on 21-24 October.  

The conference programme is focused around the theme of ‘connecting the future of finance’ and will feature more than 300 sessions, including industry sessions on topics such as collaborating to achieve G20 payment goals, fund tokenisation, network interoperability, the trade data revolution and unlocking financial inclusion.

Panel sessions will cover a range of topics including ‘Navigating innovation and sustainability in the digital age: Central banks’ role in APAC’ and ‘CEO perspectives: The future of securities and FX market infrastructures’.

Plus, debate sessions will highlight the need for a more inclusive digital economy, smart use of artificial intelligence, ISO 20022 and more.

“This year Sibos is heading to Beijing, our first visit to Asia Pacific since 2018,” said Jaime Lee, head of Sibos at Swift. “Beijing is a leading centre for finance and home to the largest number of Fortune Global 500 companies in the world. Sibos week will be packed with insights, debate and networking, bringing together thousands of people from the global financial community.”

There will be more than 130 exhibitors in the main exhibition hall, including global banks and Microsoft partners such as Capgemini, Finastra, Infosys and Intellect Design.
