Insurance software solutions provider SilverBridge is to implement a Microsoft-based business intelligence (BI) solution for Hollard Life Namibia to enable the insurance firm to extract actionable insights from its data.
SilverBridge used Microsoft Visual Studio SSIS packages, Microsoft Azure SQL and Microsoft Power BI for data warehousing and modelling and created a customised dashboard solution for Hollard Life Namibia. The solution is integrated with the company’s client-centric systems and processes, which enables it to gain a real-time overview of its business and make decisions based on actionable insights from its data. It has also streamlined the insurance company’s reporting capabilities.
“Hollard Life Namibia now has a bespoke solution that is always available and provides real-time monitoring of its data,” said Kelly Preston, data analytics manager at SilverBridge. “Information can be extracted as and when required empowering the business to make better informed decisions instead of assumptions based on a gut feeling. The data warehouse makes sure that no strain is placed on the production environment to maintain business as usual processes.”
