Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Education and Microsoft have signed an memorandum of understanding (MOU) to advance remote teaching by using Office 365 tools.
Under the MOU, Microsoft will give students, teachers, monastic colleges, teacher training schools and ministry officials free access to OneNote, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams. According to Microsoft, users will be able to access these tools across many types of devices which will enhance remote learning and help educators improve their IT competence.
