Carbon neutrality, artificial intelligence, hydrogen technologies, energy management and Industry 4.0 are all on the agenda for Hannover Messe 2023 on 17-21 April 2023.
“Only the interplay of these technologies will make it possible to sustainably safeguard our prosperity and at the same time drive climate protection forward,” said Dr Jochen Köckler, chairman of the managing board of the Deutsche Messe group, which organises the conference.
The event will offer a holistic view of the manufacturing industry, from the digitisation and automation of production processes to the use of hydrogen to power factories and software to register and reduce carbon footprints.
In cooperation with the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action, the conference will showcase a new interconnected data ecosystem, called Manufacturing X, which aims to unlock the full potential of Industry 4.0 by improving data access.
Energy efficiency and sustainability will also feature heavily at this year’s event. Exhibitors will showcase smart energy monitoring tools to optimise consumption, as well as solutions for the use of hydrogen as a fuel.
