swXtch.io, a software provider that delivers broadcast-quality video streams, will debut its latest features and capabilities available on Microsoft Azure at IBC 2024.

For example, the solution cloudSwXtch provides high-performance networking to cloud and edge deployments so broadcasters can work with different types of workflows during live productions.

Representatives from the company will also demonstrate how lossless user datagram protocol provides additional protection for media streams across dynamic bridging and multi-cloud networking applications.

“When cloudSwXtch debuted at IBC2022, the enthusiasm for managing live production workflows in the cloud was guarded given the clear lack of parallels between how on-premises and cloud networks were structured,” said Brent Yates, CEO of swXtch.io. “Over the past two years, swXtch.io has made JPEG-XS, precision time protocol, multicast, network path redundancy and other previously missing features available in all major public clouds. This year, we are excited to share how cloudSwXtch increasingly aligns on-premises and cloud infrastructure to help broadcasters create one big network that is deployable, monitorable and functional across clouds, and accelerate the industry’s adoption of ST 2110 IP workflows.”
