Adexa launches Genies for automating supply chain business processes Adexa has launched Genies, a set of intelligent and distributed processes that sense, act and learn from their experiences using machine learning technology. The Genies receive supply chain planning- related events in real time and interpret the impact of each occurrence, responding either with a solution or informing other Genies and people as needed. Their goal is self-correcting the representation or digital twin of the supply chain and self-improving supply chain operations, such as predicting the right levels of safety stocks based on customer behaviour, seasonality, regional demand fluctuations and other factors. Darktrace stops 4,000 cyberthreats each week at Ted Baker Cybersecurity artificial intelligence (AI) provider Darktrace is helping Ted Baker to intercept approximately 4,000 cyberthreats every week. The global fashion brand uses Darktrace’s self- learning AI to identify and interrupt attacks, including spear phishing emails devised to reach high-level executives, and cybercampaigns that seek to steal intellectual property. “Within seconds of out- of-the-ordinary behaviour emerging, Darktrace AI forms an understanding of whether an attack is underway or not and can interrupt that activity before our security teams are able to,” said Leon Shepherd, chief information officer at Ted Baker. “With Autonomous Response, I know the AI is always ready to jump in on our behalf at machine speed.”
