24 MARKETWATCH Energy-as-a-service provider AlphaStruxure – a joint venture between Carlyle and Schneider Electric – will finance, design, build and operate an integrated microgrid at John F. Kennedy International Airport’s New Terminal One (NTO) to provide sustainable, locally generated and cost-predictable energy. The 11.34-megawatt microgrid will reduce the terminal’s greenhouse gas emissions by 38 per cent and minimise pollutants, leading to cleaner air in surrounding communities.
