29 Hannover Messe, an industrial trade fair with over 200 organisations from the mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, digital industries and energy sector, will focus on the theme of ‘the future’s here’ for 2025. The event will focus on IT and operational technology (OT) security, with developers showcasing solutions to address both current and future cyberthreats. In addition, cybersecurity experts, including the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), the German Cybersecurity Organization (DCSO), and companies like Eye Security, Infodas, Rhebo, and Secunet, will converge in the ‘Industrial Security Circus’ arena in Hall 16 to discuss escalating cyber risks. The main exhibiting areas will focus on smart manufacturing, digital ecosystems, energy for industry, compressed air and vacuum technology, engineered parts and solutions, the future hub and international trade and investment. In the IT/OT security exhibition area in Hall 16, attendees can learn more about hydrogen and fuel cells, Energy 4.0 and power engineering during demonstrations from manufacturers and solution providers. These demonstrations will give attendees an in-depth understanding into topics including digitalisation, decarbonisation, energy efficiency, electricity selfgeneration, cost reduction and more. Microsoft will also be exhibiting at the event alongside various partners, including Avanade, AVEVA, Databricks, Kongsberg Digital, Litmus, PTC and Rescale. Canada is the partner country for this year’s event and will highlight its industrial strength in areas such as automation, energy, digital transformation and green technology at the Canada Pavilion.
