8 9 AI tool drives Covid response Accenture and Microsoft worked with the digital service, MyGov Saathi, to equip India’s 1.3 billion citizens with a Responsible AI tool. During the unfolding Covid-19 crisis, the government of India sought easy-to-use, efficient tools to provide accurate information on the pandemic and to help citizens keep pace with evolving health guidance. Harnessing the capabilities of Microsoft’s Power Virtual Agent low-code solution, the tool chosen for these tasks can handle up to 300,000 users per day and 20,000 concurrent users per minute. Targeting lower costs and improved scalability, the solution DXC implemented uses DXC Platform as a Service for SAP Results. Helping unite information from disparate data centers, the solution cut IT infrastructure costs by 25% and delivery time of fleet management systems from 8 weeks to one day, while CPU core upgrade speeds that had taken 6 to 12 weeks were achieved in 12 hours.
